whats in a hip?

“your hips can hold a lot. when the piliated woodpecker is at the bird feeder- he needs that platform to put his til on. this painting is a excersize in trying to not make something to wierd or creative but trying to make something solid that you can rest easy looking at and not hav to try too har to see imagery in. its possible to make a good abstract painting with only 2 or 3 shapes if you play with positive and negative space strongly. i aim to try this mor in real lif but maybe this is an attempt via the sim.”
